Entertainment is changing. Millennials are living a mobile, social, on-demand life. Maker is the global leader in short-form video reaching this diverse, tech-savvy group. As the largest content network on YouTube, Maker attracts more than 11 billion views every month with over 650 million subscribers.

With 55,000 independent creator partners from more than 100 countries, Maker is home to top digital stars, channels, and content. With growing scale driven by a robust technology platform and direct-to-consumer distribution, Maker is dedicated to developing talent, creating premium programming, and building lasting brands with engaged audiences.

Our Story

In 2009, a group of forward-thinking content creators who had established themselves on YouTube, joined forces to collectively drive audiences to a single destination–The Station. The team pooled their resources to create and collaborate on content, operating with a talent-first mindset and ultimately expanding as Maker Studios.

What began as friends with a vision is now a global media brand with tens of thousands of creators, millions of subscribers, and billions of fans worldwide.

Now, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, Maker is the global leader in short-form video and the largest content network on YouTube.

Entertainment is evolving and Maker is at the forefront.
