Our Story

In 2006, Lisa Donovan started the channel LisaNova and soon after Ben Donovan and Dan Zappin helped Lisa grow the channel into one of the most viewed and highly respected destinations on YouTube -- becoming one of the first channels partnered on the platform.

In 2009, Lisa, Ben and Dan joined forces with other established online content creators including ShayCarl and KassemG to form Maker. The group pooled their resources and drove audiences to Maker's first channel The Station, to collaborate and operate with a talent-first mindset.

What began as friends with a vision quickly grew to several sound stages, editing suites, millions of subscribers and billions of views.
